A combination spanner pairing an open end with a ring end fitted with a ratchet mechanism. Designed for work on 10 mm nuts and bolt heads in workshop and service environments.
The ratchet needs a swing of only 5° to advance to the next tooth. This makes work possible in restricted spaces where a full turn of the spanner is out of the question. The mechanism is made from hardened steel, giving durability under intensive use.
CrV offers greater resistance to bending and twisting than ordinary tool steel. The vanadium addition improves wear resistance, which translates into a longer service life in daily use.
The Surface Drive profile transmits torque to the flats of the nut rather than to its corners. This makes it possible to work on bolts with partially damaged heads and reduces the risk of further damage to fasteners when loosening them.
A polished finish increases corrosion resistance and makes the tool easier to keep clean. The smooth surface prevents the build-up of dirt and reduces friction during use.

The 10 mm size refers to the across-flats dimension of the spanner, which corresponds to metric M6 bolts. Before buying, check the thread diameter of the bolt – for M6 the standard spanner size is 10 mm. If in doubt, measure the across-flats width of the nut or bolt head with a vernier caliper.
Before starting work, check the ratchet direction with the reversing lever. Make sure the ring end is seated fully on the nut before applying force. After use, wipe dirt off the spanner with a dry cloth.
Do not use extension bars or pipes to increase torque – exceeding the permitted values can damage the ratchet mechanism. For seized bolts, apply penetrating oil and wait a few minutes before trying again.
Store the tool in a dry place, away from moisture and corrosive substances. Lubricate the ratchet mechanism periodically with tool oil, particularly after working in dusty conditions.
