A specialist extractor set for removing damaged, sheared or corroded bolts and nuts. The chrome molybdenum steel construction ensures durability in workshop conditions.
The spiral shape of the internal grooves makes the socket bite into the damaged bolt as it is turned to undo it. The greater the resistance, the stronger the grip — the self-tightening mechanism eliminates slipping.
A material with increased hardness and resistance to twisting. The chromium content improves corrosion resistance and the molybdenum improves mechanical strength — the sockets hold their shape even at high torque.
The hexagonal external profile works with metric spanners, ratchets and 6-point sockets. It allows different tools to be used depending on the working space available.
Ten sizes cover the most common bolt diameters used in automotive, mechanical and steel construction work. Each socket is marked with its size for quick identification.

The extractor sockets use a self-tightening mechanism. The spiral internal profile acts like a reversed thread — as the socket is turned anticlockwise, the grooves bite into the material of the damaged bolt. The greater the resistance, the stronger the grip. This allows torque to be transmitted even to bolts with no visible head or a completely destroyed profile.
Choose a socket slightly smaller than the diameter of the damaged bolt. Place it over the bolt and press it on with a gentle twisting motion to the left. Once the socket bites, use a spanner or ratchet to undo it. For joints that are very firmly seized, apply a penetrating fluid and wait 15-30 minutes before attempting to undo them.
After each use, clean metal debris from the sockets with a wire brush. Check that the internal grooves are not worn smooth or clogged with swarf — contamination reduces the effectiveness of the bite. Store the set in a dry place, preferably in the original packaging with the size markings. CR-MO steel is corrosion resistant, but prolonged contact with moisture can lead to surface rusting.
