A complete set of wood drill bits for drilling deep holes in timber. Contains 6 drill bits with a working length of 460 mm in the most popular diameters from 6 to 18 mm.
Allows deep holes to be drilled through thick timber, structural beams and floorboards. Useful when routing electrical and plumbing services through structural members.
The 230 mm hex shank ensures a secure hold in the drill chuck and prevents slipping during drilling. Compatible with most drill drivers and 3-jaw or keyless chucks.
The cutting geometry ensures fast entry into the material and efficient chip clearance from the drilling zone. It reduces the load on the tool and the risk of the drill bit overheating during use.
The set is supplied in a wooden case with dedicated slots for each drill bit. It makes transport easier, protects against damage and allows the completeness of the set to be checked at a glance.

Drill bits with a 6-sided hex shank work with hammer drills, cordless drill drivers and bench drills fitted with a 3-jaw chuck or a hex bit adapter. Check that the drill's power output is sufficient for drilling into wood with an 18 mm diameter bit.
Before starting work, make sure the drill bit is securely mounted in the drill chuck. During drilling, keep the tool perpendicular to the surface and apply moderate pressure – excessive force can cause overheating or break the drill bit.
After finishing work, clean the drill bits of chips and wood dust. Check the condition of the cutting edges – blunt cutting edges should be sharpened or the drill bit replaced. Store the set in its original case, in a dry place, to prevent corrosion.
