High-leg work boots in nubuck leather with steel reinforcements, designed for work requiring protection against impact, penetration and contact with chemicals. They meet the CE EN ISO 20345:2011 standard in class S3, with additional SRC slip-resistance certification.
Technical features
Mechanical protection – steel toe cap 200J
The toe cap withstands an impact of 200 joules and a compression of 15 kN. It protects the toes against falling objects weighing up to 20 kg dropped from a height of 1 metre. It meets the requirements for safety footwear under EN ISO 20345.
Penetration protection – steel midsole 1100N
The steel midsole protects the foot against sharp objects (nails, metal swarf, glass). It withstands a penetration force of 1100 newtons, matching the loads encountered on construction sites and in production halls.
Nubuck leather – durability and breathability
Nubuck is the outer layer of bovine leather, sanded to a velvety texture. Thicker and stiffer than suede, it resists abrasion and tearing. With regular care (proofing sprays, brushes) it retains its properties over a long service life.
PU/PU outsole with SRC tread
A dual-density two-layer polyurethane outsole: the lower layer is abrasion-resistant, the upper layer provides cushioning. SRC certification confirms slip resistance on ceramic tile with detergent (SLS) and steel with glycerol – the typical surfaces found in the food industry and workshops.

S3 SRC class – what it means
The S3 marking denotes a category of safety footwear under EN ISO 20345, covering the following requirements:
Basic requirements of class S3
S1: 200J protective toe cap, antistatic properties, energy absorption in the heel seat, closed heel
+ S2: upper resistant to water penetration and absorption
+ S3: penetration-resistant midsole, treaded outsole

Use and care of nubuck
Nubuck requires regular care, but when treated properly it retains its properties throughout the life of the footwear.
Basic care guidelines
Cleaning: a brass-bristle brush or nubuck eraser – remove dirt dry, without water
Proofing: nubuck spray treatments, applied to clean, dry boots, at least twice a month under intensive use
Drying: at room temperature, away from radiators – high temperatures damage the leather structure
Refreshing: brushing against the nap restores the velvety texture
Nubuck naturally darkens in areas of intensive wear – this is normal and results from the compaction of the leather fibres. Regular proofing increases resistance to moisture and stains.
Antistatic properties
The boots have an electrical resistance in the range 100 kΩ – 1000 MΩ. They dissipate electrostatic charges, preventing sparking in explosive atmospheres (ATEX). They do not provide full insulation – do not use for work on live electrical systems.
