A circular blade with a quick-change system, designed for cutting wood and plastic with oscillating multi-tools. Made from HCS steel, compatible with Quick Release and Bosch OIS systems.
HCS (High Carbon Steel) is a high-carbon steel with a hardness of 40-50 HRC, flexible and resistant to cracking. It performs well when cutting soft materials – natural wood, chipboard, MDF and plastics. It is not suitable for metals, as it blunts quickly.
A tool-free blade change mechanism – simply turn the clamping ring or press the lever to change the accessory. It shortens downtime during work and does away with the need for fitting spanners.
A circular blade allows holes and cut-outs to be made in flat materials. It is used for cutting out sections of board, adjusting panels and creating holes for services. It gives you control over the cutting direction in confined spaces.
OIS (Oscillating Interface System) is a mounting standard developed by Bosch and adopted by most manufacturers of oscillating multi-tools. The blade fits tools from Bosch, Makita, Fein, DeWalt, Milwaukee and other brands compatible with this standard.
| Model | YT-34681 |
| Manufacturer | YATO |
| Blade type | Circular |
| Blade material | HCS steel (High Carbon Steel) |
| Fitting system | Yato Quick Release System, Bosch OIS |
| Suitable materials | Wood, plastic, polymer materials |
| Blade change method | Tool-free |
Check the tool's manual – if it uses the Bosch OIS standard, Starlock (without Auto-Fit) or a universal mounting system, the blade will be compatible. For older models without Quick Release, check whether the tool supports mounting adapters. Most oscillating multi-tools manufactured after 2010 use the OIS standard.
HCS steel blades require regular checking of the cutting edge. After every use, remove any material residue with a brush or compressed air. Storing the blade in a dry place prevents corrosion – moisture accelerates the oxidation of high-carbon steel.
When cutting, match the oscillation speed to the material: lower speeds for plastic (to prevent it melting), higher speeds for hard wood. Excessive pressure on the blade shortens its service life and reduces cutting quality. Regularly replacing worn blades ensures clean cuts and safe working.
Signs of blade wear: visible chipping of the teeth, difficulty starting a cut, excessive heating of the blade, uneven cut edges. In these cases, the blade should be replaced with a new one.
