Perforated hook and loop sanding sheets for orbital sanders. The P100 grit is designed for finish sanding and smoothing surfaces before painting. The pack contains 5 sheets measuring 93x180 mm.
P100 is a medium grade used in the final stages of surface preparation. It removes minor imperfections left by coarser grits (P60-P80) and prepares the surface for paint. It leaves a matt finish without deep scratches.
The hook and loop backing system allows the sheet to be removed and refitted many times without losing its grip. The holes in the sheet work with the dust extraction system on orbital sanders, keeping the working area cleaner and extending the life of the abrasive grain.
The 93x180 mm size is the standard for rectangular orbital sander backing pads. It provides a large working area while keeping the tool manoeuvrable. Before buying, check the pad dimensions in the sander's documentation.
The pack contains 5 sanding sheets, enough to cover a total area of 8-12 m² depending on the hardness of the material and the level of wear. For intensive use, this provides continuity of work without the need to reorder frequently.

The sheets fit orbital sanders with a 93x180 mm rectangular backing pad and a hook and loop attachment system. Before buying, check the size of the backing pad in the tool's instruction manual. The holes in the sheet must match the hole pattern in the pad for the dust extraction to work correctly.
Hook and loop sanding sheets need to be fitted correctly to perform at their best. Before fitting a sheet, clean the sander's backing pad of dust residue and any remnants of the previous sheet. Fit the sheet evenly, without creases, aligning the holes with the perforations in the pad.
Use moderate pressure when sanding - excessive pressure shortens the life of the abrasive grain and can cause the surface to overheat. When sanding wood, move the sander along the grain; on filler and metal, use a cross-hatch motion to remove material evenly.
The life of the sheet depends on the hardness of the material being worked. On soft filler, one sheet is enough for 1.5-2 m²; on hard wood, around 1 m². A worn sheet can be recognised by the rounding of the abrasive grain, reduced sanding performance and material building up between the grains despite the dust extraction working.
