Hydraulic pipe bender for precision cold bending of metal pipe. It forms pipe from 1/2" to 3" (13-75 mm) in diameter at angles up to 90 degrees. Fitted with a 16-tonne ram with return spring and a set of 8 formers.
The hydraulic drive delivers 16 tonnes of force, allowing cold bending without the need to heat the material. The return spring provides controlled retraction of the piston and precise metering of force during forming.
The adjustable table lets you match the support point to the pipe diameter and the required bend radius. Each position corresponds to a different diameter range, which prevents the cross-section from deforming during forming.
The profile of each former is matched to a specific pipe diameter (from 1/2" to 3"), which eliminates flattening of the cross-section and ensures a consistent bend radius along the whole length of the curve.
The frame is made from reinforced structural steel and withstands cutting forces without deformation. The 21 mm diameter pin acts as the pivot for the formers and keeps the operation stable.

The outside diameter of the former must match the outside diameter of the pipe. Using the wrong profile leads to a flattened cross-section or cracking of the material in the bend zone. Check the marking on the former before starting the operation.
The tool bends up to 90°. Exceeding this angle requires the pipe to be repositioned. With thicker-walled pipe, it is advisable to bend in several stages, checking the angle after each stroke of the piston.
This method does not require the material to be heated, which shortens the operation time and eliminates thermal deformation. A force of 16 tonnes is sufficient for forming steel pipe of standard wall thickness. Higher-strength materials may require more force.
The return spring needs its tension checked periodically. The hydraulic oil should be changed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Piston seals should be checked for leaks — even small leaks reduce bending precision.
