Impact socket designed for use with pneumatic and electric impact wrenches. Made from chrome molybdenum steel and built for intensive use in workshop and industrial environments.
The 1" (25.4 mm) square drive is compatible with pneumatic and electric impact wrenches rated above 500 Nm. A standard size in industrial applications and HGV workshops.
This steel alloy with added chromium and molybdenum offers increased resistance to impact and torsional stress. The material resists cracking under the repeated impact loads typical of pneumatic wrenches.
Reinforced walls and a special internal profile dissipate impact forces, minimising the risk of damage to the edges. The socket is intended for use with tools that deliver torque impulses.
This socket is intended for M22 bolts and nuts. Typically used when fitting chassis components on HGVs, steel structures and industrial machinery requiring high tightening torques.

The socket is compatible with impact wrenches fitted with a 1" square drive. Before use, check that the maximum torque of the wrench does not exceed the strength of the bolted joint. With adjustable-torque wrenches, set the value in line with the vehicle or structure manufacturer's requirements.
Before starting work, check the condition of the socket's internal edges. Damaged or rounded edges can slip off the nut and damage the thread. After use, clean the socket of any contamination and protect it with a thin film of oil to prevent corrosion.
Impact sockets are not intended for use with hand wrenches and extension bars. Using hand tools can lead to cracking of the material. For seized bolted joints, use penetrating fluid and increase the torque gradually.
