Impact socket for pneumatic and electric impact wrenches, made from chrome molybdenum steel (CrMo) with a phosphate surface treatment. The 26 mm size with a 1/2-inch drive ensures compatibility with professional impact tools used in workshops and industry.
The steel alloy with added chromium and molybdenum increases mechanical strength and resistance to material fatigue. CrMo sockets withstand cyclic impact loads without the risk of cracking, which is crucial when working with high-torque pneumatic wrenches.
Phosphating creates a protective layer against corrosion and improves grease adhesion. The surface takes on a characteristic dark grey colour and becomes more resistant to moisture and to the chemicals found in a workshop environment.
The 1/2" (12.7 mm) standard is the most common drive size in professional impact tools. It delivers sufficient torque for work on bolted joints in the M10-M24 range, typical of automotive and steel construction work.
The 26 mm socket is designed for hex bolts and nuts with a 26 mm spanner size. It is used, among other things, for fitting suspension components, industrial wheels and in steel structures requiring high tightening torques.

Before use, check that the impact wrench has a 1/2-inch drive and that its maximum torque does not exceed the capacity of the socket. Impact sockets should not be used with manual ratchet wrenches - they are designed exclusively for impact tools.
After finishing work, clean the socket of contaminants and protect it with a thin layer of oil or grease. Storing it in a dry place prevents corrosion. Regularly checking its condition - cracks, deformation or wear on the working edges - helps avoid damage to fasteners and ensures safe working.
