Inverter Generator 7 kW / 7.6 kW KRAFT&DELE KD682
The KD682 is a petrol inverter generator with a rated output of 7.0 kW, powered by a single-cylinder four-stroke OHV air-cooled engine. Inverter technology delivers a stable output voltage with a pure sine wave, making it suitable for powering electronic equipment that is sensitive to voltage interference — including audio-visual equipment, household appliances, power tools with electronic controls and medical devices.
Technical features
Inverter technology — pure sine wave
Unlike conventional generators, an inverter generator processes the current through an additional electronic stage, producing an output voltage close to that of the mains supply (THD below the limits required for consumer electronics). This makes it safe to power computers, televisions, audio equipment, inverters and devices fitted with switched-mode power supplies.
Smart Throttle — automatic speed control
The system automatically reduces engine speed under light load and increases it as power demand rises. The result is lower fuel consumption in part-load operation, less noise and reduced mechanical wear on the engine — which means a longer service life for the unit.
OHV engine — design and durability
A single-cylinder four-stroke engine with OHV valve gear (overhead valves) offers better cylinder filling and higher thermal efficiency than side-valve engines. Air cooling does away with a liquid cooling system, which simplifies servicing and reduces the risk of failure.
Control indicators and protection
The generator is fitted with output voltage, overload and engine oil level indicators. The oil level indicator protects the engine from running with insufficient lubrication — one of the main causes of mechanical damage. Overload protection safeguards both the generator and the connected equipment.

S1 and S2 duty modes
S1 duty means continuous running at the rated output of 7.0 kW — the engine can run without interruption under these conditions. S2 duty (5 seconds) is the peak output of 7.6 kW, used when starting equipment with a high starting current, such as electric motors, pumps or compressors. After a brief overload, the generator should return to running at its rated output.

Use and maintenance
Before first start-up, check the engine oil level — the generator is not supplied filled with oil from the factory. The manufacturer recommends SAE 10W-30 oil or an oil that complies with the operating instructions. The oil should be changed after the first 20 hours of operation and then every 50–100 hours of operation, or once a season.
The generator must only be used outdoors or in well-ventilated rooms — a combustion engine emits carbon monoxide. The 18.5 L tank provides approximately 4.3 hours of operation at full load; at lower loads this time is extended in proportion to the reduction in fuel consumption achieved by the Smart Throttle system.
A noise level of 95 dB means hearing protection must be worn when working in close proximity to the unit. The generator weighs approx. 110 kg — moving and positioning it requires at least two people or the use of a trolley.
