The KD134 is a portable inverter generator powered by a four-stroke engine and fitted with a microprocessor-based throttle control system. It produces a pure sine wave output, making it suitable for powering voltage-sensitive electronics — computers, audio equipment or tools with precision control circuits.
The microprocessor continuously monitors power draw and adjusts engine speed to match the current load. When demand is low, the engine runs more slowly, which reduces both fuel consumption and noise. As the load increases, engine speed rises automatically to deliver the required power.
Inverter generators produce a waveform closely matching that of the mains supply. This means they can safely power devices with sensitive electronics — laptops, medical equipment and tools with electronic speed control — without risking damage to the power supply or controller.
The engine's variable speed translates directly into lower fuel consumption compared with conventional generators that run constantly at full speed. Longer intervals between refuelling and less mechanical wear on the engine reduce running costs over the longer term.
A built-in automatic voltage regulator (AVR) maintains a stable output voltage regardless of load fluctuations. The protection system guards the generator against overload and other fault conditions, minimising the risk of damage to both the generator and any connected equipment.
The generator is fitted with an eco mode switch. Once activated, the engine runs at the minimum speed needed to maintain the supply. This mode is particularly useful during long breaks in heavy use — for example, powering overnight lighting on a building site or at a campsite — when fuel economy and low noise are the priority.

Before buying, add up the power ratings of all the devices you intend to run at the same time. Devices with electric motors (pumps, compressors, drills) draw two to three times their rated power when starting up — this peak demand must fall within the generator's maximum output. A 3500 W output is enough to run several household appliances or a set of construction tools with a combined draw not exceeding this figure.
