Cable Cutting Pliers KD10809
Cable cutting pliers with chrome vanadium (CrV) steel blades, designed for precision trimming of electrical wires and cables. The 200 mm length provides adequate leverage when cutting larger cross-sections.
Tool features
Chrome vanadium (CrV) steel
Chromium and vanadium alloys increase the hardness of the blades and their resistance to abrasion and plastic deformation. The blades stay sharp throughout a long service life, which translates into even, clean cuts without crushing the cable conductors.
Precision-ground cutting edges
Accurate machining of the cutting edges minimises the force required to cut through cable and prevents the insulation from fraying. The cut is clean, which makes the subsequent installation work easier — crimping terminations and connecting conductors.
Ergonomic dual-material handles
The grips are made from two layers of material — a hard core and a soft, non-slip rubber overmould — which dampens vibration during cutting and ensures a secure hold even when working in protective gloves or in damp conditions.
200 mm length and cutting power
The 200 mm size is a compromise between a compact tool and handles long enough to transfer the force of the hand to the blades. Longer handles generate greater leverage, allowing larger cable cross-sections to be cut without excessive effort.
