The KD5933 is a hand-operated vacuum kit designed for bleeding brake and clutch systems and changing brake fluid in cars, vans and motorcycles. It lets you carry out the entire procedure single-handed — without a second person working the brake pedal.
The vacuum pump draws a vacuum on the bleed nipple side, which removes the need for a second person to pump the brake pedal. A procedure that traditionally takes two people can be carried out single-handed at the bench.
The flexible, transparent hose lets you watch the fluid flow and spot air bubbles as they pass. Bleeding can be finished the moment the flow becomes even — with no guesswork.
The supplied container collects the brake fluid drawn out, preventing it from spilling onto bodywork or the workshop floor. Brake fluid attacks paint and concrete surfaces, which is why a leak-proof reservoir matters in practice.
The kit includes a range of fittings to suit the bleed nipples found on European and Asian vehicles. Before use, check the size of the nipple on the vehicle being serviced and select the correct fitting from the set.

Before use, locate the bleed nipples on the brake calipers or wheel cylinders and measure their size (8 mm and 10 mm are the most common). The KD5933 kit includes several fittings — the correct adapter should sit tightly around the nipple so that vacuum does not escape while pumping. If you are unsure about compatibility, check the type of nipple in the vehicle's technical documentation.
After every use, empty the used fluid from the reservoir and flush the hose and reservoir with clean fluid or distilled water, then dry them before storing. Brake fluid is hygroscopic — prolonged contact with moisture can damage the seals in the pump. Store the kit in a dry place, away from heat sources.
The pump needs no lubrication or calibration. If the seal between the hose and the adapter is lost, check the condition of the seals and the tightness of the joint — a loose connection is the most common cause of a loss of vacuum during use.
