Keltin K02329 Insulated Bike Rack Bag
A bike rack bag with thermal insulation, designed for carrying food and drinks. Made from polyester with reflective elements and fitted using a hook-and-loop system.
Key features
Thermal insulation in the main compartment
An inner layer of insulating material slows the transfer of heat between the contents of the bag and its surroundings. It keeps drinks and food at temperature for several hours while riding — cold items stay cold and warm items do not cool down too quickly.
Polyester construction
Polyester fabric is resistant to abrasion and tearing while remaining lightweight. The material does not absorb water, which makes the outer surface easy to clean. This does not make the bag fully waterproof — it protects against splashes but not against heavy rain.
Hook-and-loop fitting system
Hook-and-loop straps wrapped around the rack tubes hold the bag firmly in place with no tools required. Fitting takes only a matter of seconds. It is worth checking that the strap width suits the rack — they work best on standard tubular racks with tubes up to 15 mm in diameter.
Reflective elements
Reflective inserts increase the cyclist's visibility in low light. They bounce back vehicle headlight beams, which improves safety when riding at dusk or early in the morning. They are not a substitute for bike lights, but an additional passive safety feature.

Use and care
Fitting to the rack
Before first use, check that the hook-and-loop straps wrap around the rack tubes with the right tension. The bag should be fitted symmetrically so that it does not shift while riding. The additional strap can be looped over the frame or used as a handle for carrying the bag once it has been removed from the rack.
Cleaning
The outer surface can be wiped with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. The insulated compartment should be aired after every use to prevent moisture and odours from building up. Machine washing is not recommended — it can damage the insulating layer and weaken the hook-and-loop fasteners.
Limitations
The thermal insulation remains effective for 2–4 hours, depending on the ambient temperature and the contents of the bag. This is not comparable to a cool box — it is designed to hold temperature for short periods. The bag's capacity (approx. 9 litres) is enough for shopping for 1–2 people or provisions for a day trip.
