Universal bottle cage for securing bottles to a bicycle frame. The adjustable mechanism allows it to be matched to bottles of different diameters, making it compatible with most standard cycling bottles and plastic bottles.
The 4.5-7.5 cm range covers standard cycling bottles (usually 7.4 cm), 0.5 l bottles (around 6.5 cm) and smaller sports containers. Adjustment is made by changing the spacing between the cage arms, which holds bottles of different sizes securely without the need to buy separate cages.
The material is resistant to cracking under typical loads and to moisture and UV radiation. The plastic remains flexible at low temperatures, which prevents it becoming brittle when riding in winter. The construction is lighter than metal equivalents, which matters when minimising bike weight.
The supplied mounting bolts allow the cage to be fixed to the threaded bosses on the bicycle frame (standard spacing 64 mm or 74 mm). Fitting requires only an Allen key or a screwdriver. The secure mounting ensures the cage does not rotate when riding over rough ground.
Fits most bicycle frames fitted with bottle cage bosses – including road, MTB, trekking and city bikes. Check that your frame has threaded bosses on the seat tube or down tube before purchase.

Before fitting, make sure the bicycle frame has two threaded bosses at the standard spacing (64 mm or 74 mm). These are usually located on the seat tube (below the saddle) or on the down tube. Some frames have two sets of bosses, which allows two cages to be fitted.
After fitting, check the stability of the cage by gently trying to move it – it should not rotate or shift. Adjust the diameter to suit the bottle you use, so that it is held securely but can still be removed with one hand while riding.
Check the mounting bolts periodically, especially after the first rides and after riding over rough ground. Loose bolts can cause the cage to shift or come loose. If the cage starts to squeak, a small amount of silicone grease can be applied to the moving parts of the adjustment mechanism.
The plastic requires no special maintenance – periodic cleaning with a damp cloth is sufficient. Avoid organic solvents, which can weaken the structure of the material. If cracks or deformation are visible, the cage should be replaced.
