A manual tile cutter with a maximum cutting capacity of 1200 mm, designed for working ceramic, porcelain, porcelain stoneware and natural stone from 4 to 14 mm thick. The tool needs no electrical power — cutting is carried out by scoring and snapping, which eliminates the dust and noise typical of angle grinders.
The thickness of the base plate determines the rigidity of the whole assembly during cutting. Any flex in the frame under load throws the cutting line off — a solid base minimises this risk on long cuts across the full 1200 mm capacity.
Guide rails made from stainless steel or given an anti-corrosion coating keep their smooth surface even after prolonged use. Corrosion on the rails causes uneven travel of the cutting head and degrades cut quality.
Professional-grade bearings ensure smooth, consistent travel of the cutting head along the rails. Even pressure from the cutting wheel along the full length of the score is what determines a clean snap with no chipping at the edge.
A 1200 mm cutting length makes it possible to work the large-format tiles used in modern floor and wall designs. With standard 60×60 cm or 120×60 cm tiles, the tool allows a cut to be made without first breaking the material down into smaller pieces.

The cutter is designed for straight cuts in ceramic and stone tiles using the score-and-snap method. The range of materials and thicknesses the tool is compatible with:
Before cutting, check two parameters: tile thickness (it must fall within the 4–14 mm range) and tile length (1200 mm maximum). The score-and-snap method works well for straight cuts. Diagonal cuts, cut-outs and curved cuts require a different tool (an angle grinder with a diamond blade, or a wet tile saw with water cooling).
After every working session, clean the ceramic dust off the rails and the cutting head — abrasive particles accelerate wear on the bearings and the running surfaces. The rails should be lubricated periodically with a suitable product (such as machine oil or a dry spray lubricant), which keeps the cutting head moving smoothly. The cutting wheel is a consumable item — a decline in cut edge quality indicates that it needs replacing. Store the tool in a dry place to prevent corrosion of steel parts that are not covered by a protective coating.
