Manual Strap Winch KD1314 – 2500 lbs / 1134 kg
The KD1314 is a manual strap winch designed for lifting, pulling and lowering loads of up to 1134 kg. It works on a ratchet mechanism with steel gearing, giving the operator control over load movement without the risk of the strap releasing on its own.

Ratchet mechanism
The ratchet locks the strap after every turn of the crank, preventing the load from slipping back. This lets the operator pause at any point without the risk of the load dropping uncontrolled.
Two-speed gear ratio 4:1 / 8:1
The lower ratio (4:1) winds the strap faster at lighter loads. The higher ratio (8:1) reduces the effort required as you approach maximum pull, which matters with heavy loads.
50 mm x 10 m strap
The 50 mm width increases the contact area with the load and reduces the risk of damaging the items being moved. The 10 m length allows work where the anchor point is some distance from the load.
Steel gearing and mounting hook
The steel gear housing protects the mechanism against mechanical damage and contamination. The safety hook allows the winch to be attached quickly and securely to a beam, frame or other support point.

Choosing the right gear ratio
For loads up to around 600 kg and short winding distances, the 4:1 ratio is sufficient – work is faster and less tiring. For loads close to the maximum (above 800–1000 kg), switch to the 8:1 ratio, which requires less force on the crank but more turns for the same length of strap.
Use and maintenance
Before each use, check the strap for chafing, fraying and damaged stitching, and make sure the hook latches correctly. The ratchet mechanism and the moving parts of the gearing require periodic lubrication with machine grease. Store the strap away from corrosive substances and moisture, which can weaken its strength. Never exceed the rated capacity of 1134 kg.
