Metal Cutting Disc GEKO 125 x 1.6 G78213
A 125 mm corundum disc designed for cutting stainless steel, high-grade steel, mild steel, non-ferrous metals and aluminium. Electro-corundum abrasive bonded with synthetic resin and reinforced with fibreglass mesh.
Technical characteristics
Electro-corundum abrasive
Aluminium oxide grains are hard and resistant to fracturing. They ensure efficient cutting of metals and a long disc life while maintaining consistent performance.
Reinforced resin bond
The synthetic resin bonds the abrasive grains, while fibreglass reinforcement increases the disc's mechanical strength and its resistance to cracking during use.
1.6 mm thickness
The thin disc minimises material loss during cutting and load on the tool. It enables precise cuts with lower energy consumption compared with thicker discs.
80 m/s linear speed
This parameter defines the maximum safe peripheral speed of the disc. At a diameter of 125 mm it corresponds to a speed of up to 12,200 rpm. Exceeding this value may damage the disc.

Compatibility and use
Checking compatibility with the tool
Before fitting, check that the angle grinder has a 22.23 mm bore (the standard size for 125 mm grinders) and that its maximum speed does not exceed 12,200 rpm. Exceeding the permissible speed creates a risk of the disc breaking.
Working safely
Use the grinder's guard and personal protective equipment (goggles, gloves, hearing protection). The disc is intended for cutting only — it must not be used for side grinding. Before starting work, check the disc for cracks and damage.
