A multi-function measuring tool combining the functions of a fixed square, an adjustable protractor and a centre finder. The aluminium construction with a stainless steel blade provides durability in workshop and site conditions.
Technical features of the multi-function square
Fixed 45° and 90° measuring faces
The square has built-in arms set at 90° and 45°. This allows the most common angles to be marked out quickly without any adjustment, speeding up work when cutting skirting boards, frames or structural components that require standard joints.
0-180° swivel protractor
The adjustable protractor arm covers the full 0 to 180 degree range. This allows any angle to be measured precisely, including the unusual angles encountered when working on roofs, stairs or irregularly shaped components. A locking mechanism holds the set angle while dimensions are transferred.
Centring function
The special design of the arms makes it possible to find the centre of round or square components. This function is useful when drilling centre holes in discs or flanges, or when fitting hinges to doors and windows, where precise centring is essential for correct operation.

Use and maintenance
How to use the centring function
To find the centre of a round component, place the arms of the square against the edge of the workpiece in two different positions and draw lines. The point where the lines intersect is the exact centre. For square components, a single diagonal placement is enough.
Maintaining measuring accuracy
The millimetre graduations should be protected from scratches and contamination. After working in damp conditions, wipe the tool with a dry cloth. The protractor mechanism requires periodic checking of the accuracy of the fixed angles using a reference standard or an accurate set square.
