A multi-purpose drill bit with a 1/4" hex shank, designed for drilling into metal, concrete, wood, aluminium, ceramics and plastics. The YG6X tungsten carbide tip provides durability when working with a wide range of materials.
A hardness of 89-91 HRC means extreme resistance to abrasion, so you can drill into hard materials such as concrete and ceramics without the tip dulling quickly. Tungsten carbide stays sharp far longer than standard HSS high-speed steel.
The 6.3 mm standard makes the bit compatible with cordless drill drivers, impact drivers, cordless drills and impact wrenches. The hexagonal shape prevents the bit from turning in the chuck during use, which improves drilling precision.
The suitably hardened drill body combines flexibility with strength, minimising the risk of breakage when drilling at an angle or in demanding conditions. The body hardness is balanced for optimum torque transmission.
The specially designed flutes clear debris from the hole efficiently, preventing the bit from jamming and overheating. The flute design shortens drilling time and extends tool life.

The 1/4" hex shank fits all cordless drill drivers, impact drivers, cordless drills and impact wrenches fitted with a hex quick-change chuck. Before you start work, make sure the bit is seated correctly in the chuck with no play.
For concrete and ceramics, drill with the hammer action at low speed (400-600 rpm). For metal, use a medium speed (800-1200 rpm) with cooling. Wood and plastics drill at higher speeds (1500-2000 rpm) without hammer action. Cleaning the flutes regularly extends the life of the bit.
