YATO Quick Release System

Checking compatibility with your oscillating multi-tool

Use and maintenance
Before starting work, check that the scraper is securely mounted in the tool. A loose fitting can lead to vibration and reduced precision. When removing hard materials, work at lower oscillating speeds to avoid overheating the blade.
After use, clean the scraper of any residue from the material being removed. A build-up of mortar or adhesive at the fitting point makes changing accessories difficult. Regularly checking the condition of the blade allows mechanical damage to be detected early.
Storing in a dry place prevents corrosion of the metal parts. When working with materials containing corrosive substances, wash the scraper thoroughly with water and dry it.
