Double-ended ring spanner with offset heads in sizes 10 mm and 13 mm. A carbon steel tool designed for working on nuts and bolt heads in restricted assembly spaces.
The rings are set at an angle to the shaft, which allows work in places where straight-on access is difficult. The offset design lets you work around obstructions and on fasteners positioned close to walls or other components.
Two different sizes, 10 mm and 13 mm, in a single tool reduce the number of spanners needed to complete a job. Both sizes are standard for M6 and M8 metric bolts.
Carbon steel provides suitable hardness and mechanical strength while retaining the flexibility that prevents cracking. The material withstands the torsional loads that occur when tightening bolted joints.
The closed ring head grips all six corners of a nut or bolt head, spreading the force over a larger area. This prevents the corners of fasteners from rounding off when working with high torque.

The 10 mm size corresponds to M6 nuts and bolt heads, while 13 mm fits M8 fasteners. Before starting work, verify the spanner size (across flats) given in the equipment's technical documentation, or measure the across-flats dimension of the nut with a vernier caliper.
Fit the ring spanner onto the nut so that all six corners are fully engaged. Work with a rocking motion, using the offset angle of the head to get around obstructions. After each use, clean the tool of dirt and protect it against corrosion by wiping it with a dry cloth.
Carbon steel needs protection from moisture – prolonged storage in a damp environment leads to surface rust. Do not use the spanner as a lever or a hammer, as impact loads can crack the material or permanently deform the working profile.
