Universal compatibility
14 sockets in various diameters (65-100 mm) and profiles (14-flute, 15-flute, 30-flute, 36-flute) handle oil filters on most passenger cars, including: Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Ford, VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Opel, Volvo, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Daihatsu, Isuzu, Lexus, Porsche and Fiat.
Dual drive system
A 3/8" to 1/2" adapter allows use with ratchets of both sizes. The smaller 3/8" drive is ideal in confined spaces, while the larger 1/2" drive delivers higher torque for seized filters.
Coated steel construction
Sockets made of steel with a powder coating. The coating protects against corrosion on contact with oil and moisture, and increases tool durability in workshop conditions.
Carry case
Supplied in a plastic case with compartments. Each socket has its own place, making it easy to identify the correct size and preventing loss of components.

How to choose the right socket
Before replacing the filter, check the diameter and profile of the oil filter in the vehicle documentation or measure the old filter. Multi-flute sockets (14, 15, 30 and 36-flute) fit various filter housing designs. If the filter is seized, use a 1/2" ratchet with a longer handle for greater torque.
Use and maintenance
Before fitting the socket, check that its profile matches the shape of the filter housing. Seat the socket firmly to avoid slipping and damage to the filter's edges. After use, clean the sockets of oil and dirt, dry them and store them in the case. The powder coating protects against corrosion, but regular cleaning extends tool life.
When fitting a new filter, tighten it by hand or to a low torque as specified by the vehicle manufacturer. Overtightening will make the next change more difficult and may damage the filter seal.
