The KD1320 is a one-piece lashing strap made of polyester, designed for securing and restraining loads during road transport. Its one-piece design means a fixed anchorage point with no tensioning mechanism — the strap is used as a connecting element or as a supplement to multi-point lashing systems.

5-tonne lashing capacity
A lashing capacity of 5 t allows heavy loads to be secured — machinery, steel components, pallets and construction equipment. Before use, make sure the vehicle's lashing points have a sufficient load rating.
Polyester webbing resistant to abrasion and stretch
Polyester webbing has low elongation under load, which keeps the load stable while driving. The material resists abrasion against sharp load edges — where metal corners are in contact, edge protectors are recommended.
UV and weather resistance
Polyester does not absorb water to the same extent as nylon, which limits changes in strap strength when wet. UV resistance prevents fibre degradation during prolonged storage or outdoor use.
Temperature range -40°C to +100°C
The strap retains its mechanical properties both in winter conditions (transport at low temperatures) and near heat sources. The strap must not be used in direct contact with open flame or with surfaces above 100°C.

How to check compatibility with the load
The strap's lashing capacity (5 t) defines the maximum permissible Lashing Capacity (LC). When securing a load, take into account the number of straps used, their angle relative to the load and the load rating of the vehicle's lashing points (as stated in the technical documentation of the semi-trailer or trailer). In accordance with EN 12195-2, the number of straps required depends on the mass of the load, the coefficient of friction of the load surface and the lashing method (direct or loop lashing).
Use and maintenance
Inspect the condition of the webbing before each use — abrasion, cuts, colour changes or deformation of the structure are grounds for withdrawing the strap from service. Store the strap away from chemicals (acids, alkalis, solvents) that may weaken the polyester structure. After use, the strap should be rolled up and stored in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
