Cutting line with a pentagonal cross-section, designed for strimmers and petrol and electric brushcutters. The 2.7 mm diameter offers a balance between durability and versatility of use.
Five sharp edges increase the cutting surface and improve performance in denser vegetation. This design reduces drag during cutting compared with round line.
A universal diameter for most petrol and electric strimmers rated at 800W and above. It strikes a balance between strength and load on the engine.
A plastic resistant to bending, stretching and abrasion. It retains its mechanical properties when used in varying temperature and humidity conditions.
Enough material for more than a dozen line changes in the head. It lets you cut lengths to suit your particular strimmer model.

2.7 mm line is compatible with most petrol strimmers with an engine capacity from 25 cm³ and electric models rated at 800W and above. Before buying, check the maximum permitted line diameter in your machine's instruction manual – this information is usually found in the technical specification or on the sticker near the cutting head.
The length of the line should be matched to the type of cutting head. In automatic and semi-automatic heads a single length of 3–5 metres is standard, wound onto the spool. Manual heads use shorter lengths of 20–30 cm, threaded through the holes in the head. Before fitting, disconnect the machine from the mains or switch off the petrol engine.
The line wears faster on contact with hard surfaces – concrete, stones, metal. While working, keep the trimmer at the correct angle to minimise knocks against the ground. Regularly cleaning plant debris from the head extends the life of the line and improves cutting quality.
Unused line should be stored in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to UV can reduce the mechanical strength of the plastic. The optimum storage temperature is 5–25°C.
