Pentagonal cutting line for petrol brushcutters and electric strimmers. Made from durable plastic, it ensures efficient cutting of grass and weeds over larger areas.
The pentagonal geometry increases the cutting surface area compared with round line. The edges of the cross-section cut through stems more effectively, reducing energy consumption during operation and the load on the machine's motor.
Thicker line intended for heavy-duty work in tougher conditions. It performs well when cutting dense grass, thicker weeds and overgrown areas. It requires strimmers with a minimum power of 1000 W or petrol brushcutters.
Enough to last a full season for the average user. It allows the cutting head to be refilled many times without the need to buy replacement material frequently.
A material resistant to abrasion, UV exposure and changing weather conditions. It retains its flexibility over a wide temperature range, which prevents brittleness and cracking during use.

Before buying, check the maximum line diameter your strimmer is designed to take in its manual. 3.0 mm line requires a suitably powerful motor – for electric strimmers a minimum of 1000 W, for petrol brushcutters a minimum of 25 cc. Line that is too thick for a less powerful machine can overload the motor and cause overheating.
Store the line in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Before fitting it to the head, it is worth soaking a length of line in water for a few hours – this increases its flexibility and reduces the risk of it cracking during use.
When fitting the line to an auto-feed or bump-feed head, follow the winding direction indicated on the housing. Leave an appropriate length of line protruding from the head – typically 10-15 cm. Ends that are too long increase the load on the motor and the rate of wear.
Check the condition of the line regularly during use. Damaged or excessively worn sections should be replaced in order to maintain cutting efficiency and avoid putting strain on the machine's mechanism.
