The KD638 is a single-cylinder 210 cc petrol engine with 7 HP output, designed as a drive unit for working machinery. The 19 mm shaft and 3600 rpm rated speed allow direct coupling with a wide range of driven equipment — from generators to pumps and rotavators.

Automatic decompression

Use and maintenance
The engine requires SAE 30 or 10W-30 engine oil (as specified in the manual). Check the oil level before every start — running without oil or with a low oil level will cause permanent engine damage. Change the oil after the first 20 hours of operation, then every 50 hours or according to the schedule in the manual.
The air filter needs periodic cleaning or replacement — the frequency depends on the working conditions (dust, grit). The spark plug should be checked every season. The kit includes a spark plug spanner, which makes it easy to replace the plug yourself.
The engine is suitable only for outdoor use or for well-ventilated rooms — the exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide. Do not start it in garages, cellars or enclosed sheds without forced ventilation.
