A set of six flexible plastic scrapers made from ABS plastic. The tools are designed for finishing and painting work, as well as for applying filler compounds to surfaces that require gentle treatment.
Features of the plastic scrapers
ABS material with flexibility
ABS plastic (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) combines rigidity with controlled flexibility. The scrapers flex under pressure, which allows you to work over uneven surfaces without the risk of scratching the substrate. The material is resistant to most solvents used in painting.
Six working widths
The set contains scrapers in widths of 40, 50, 80, 100, 150 and 200 mm. The narrow variants (40-50 mm) are ideal for filling gaps and corners, while the wide ones (150-200 mm) are used for levelling larger flat surfaces. This removes the need to buy separate tools for different stages of work.
Lengths of 180 and 205 mm

Choosing the scraper width for the type of work
When choosing a width, take into account the size of the surface and the accessibility of the working area. The 40-50 mm scrapers are used for pointing, filling gaps and working in corners. Widths of 80-100 mm are universal for most filling work on small and medium surfaces. The 150-200 mm variants are designed for quickly levelling large flat surfaces, where efficiency and an even layer are the priority.
Use and maintenance
Before first use, check the working edges for any burrs left over from the manufacturing process. Removing any unevenness with fine abrasive paper will ensure the tool runs smoothly.
After finishing work, clean the scrapers of any material residue. Filler compounds and adhesives should be removed with water or a suitable solvent before they harden. Do not scrape off dried residue with sharp objects, as this can damage the working edge.
Storing the tools in a dry place extends their service life. ABS plastic can degrade under prolonged exposure to UV light, so storing the tools in closed containers or tool boxes is recommended.
Limitations of ABS material
ABS plastic offers good resistance to most solvents; however, prolonged contact with acetone, certain nitro thinners and concentrated acids can weaken the structure of the material. The scrapers are not designed for working with materials at temperatures above 70°C, as the plastic can be subject to heat distortion.
