A polishing disc made from technical felt, designed for mounting on backing pads with a hook-and-loop face. A versatile tool for polishing and cleaning a range of materials.
The dense fibre structure ensures even polishing without the risk of scratching. The carefully matched felt density allows contaminants to be removed effectively and a shine to be produced.
The hook-and-loop attachment allows the disc to be changed quickly without tools. The secure connection ensures safe operation at high speeds on an angle grinder or polisher.
The 125 mm diameter is a standard size compatible with most angle grinders and polishers. The 8 mm thickness gives the disc adequate rigidity and a longer service life than thinner versions.
The felt is suitable for use on metals, plastics, glass and stone. A single disc can be used for a variety of polishing and cleaning tasks.

Before purchasing, make sure that the backing pad has a hook-and-loop face of at least 125 mm in diameter. The disc is mounted directly onto the hook-and-loop backing pad of an angle grinder or polisher. Check the maximum speed of the tool — the felt is designed for use at medium speeds (3000-6000 rpm).
When working with the felt, use polishing compounds or cleaning preparations suitable for the material being worked. Apply the product directly to the surface or to the disc. Work at medium speeds and avoid excessive pressure, which can overheat the material or reduce polishing efficiency.
After use, clean the disc of compound residue and contaminants. The felt can be blown out with compressed air or brushed with a soft-bristled brush. Store in a dry place, away from heat sources. Replace a worn or damaged disc with a new one — continued use can lead to uneven polishing.
