Polishing disc with felt flaps in a fan arrangement, designed for use with polishing compounds when finishing and buffing a range of surfaces.
Technical features
Fan-shaped construction
8 mm felt flaps bonded to a semi-rigid fibreglass backing disc. This construction provides flexible contact with the surface being polished and even distribution of the polishing compound.
Semi-rigid backing
The fibreglass backing disc combines flexibility with mechanical strength. This allows it to conform to the shape of the workpiece while remaining stable during use.
Angle grinder compatibility
The 125 mm diameter is a standard size that fits angle grinders with an M14 thread. The disc mounts directly on the spindle or by means of a backing pad.
Use with polishing compounds
The felt structure holds and spreads polishing compounds effectively. The material does not scratch the surface, which is essential when finishing paints, precious metals or plastics.

Use and maintenance
Fitting and setting parameters
Before fitting, check that the diameter matches your grinder (125 mm, M14 as standard). Keep the speed moderate during use – too high a speed can cause excessive heating of the surface and the compound. For most applications 2,000–4,000 rpm is sufficient.
Working with polishing compounds
Apply a small amount of compound directly to the surface being polished or to the disc. Excess compound does not improve the result, it merely clogs the felt. Maintain light, even pressure during use – working too hard shortens the life of the disc and may damage the surface.
Cleaning and storage
After use, remove compound residue with a brush or compressed air. Soiled flaps can be cleaned with a solvent suitable for the compound used. Store the disc in a dry place, protected from deformation.
