The KD3037 is a portable band saw with a 1900 W motor, designed for cutting non-ferrous metals, steel, plastics and other materials. Its compact design allows it to be used both in a fixed workshop and directly on site.
High power ensures constant blade speed even when cutting harder materials such as structural steel or thick-walled copper pipe. The motor maintains its speed without a significant drop under load.
The tool's compact dimensions and low weight allow it to be moved between workstations without additional equipment. The saw can be used where a stationary setup is not possible.
Unlike circular saws, a band saw blade produces a narrow kerf and less vibration during operation. This translates into more accurate cut edges and less material waste, which matters when cutting profiles and bars.
The tool is suitable for cutting aluminium, copper, steel, PVC and other materials. Selecting the right blade (tooth type, pitch) allows the work to be matched to the specific material and thickness.

The durability and quality of the cut depend largely on the blade used. Bi-metal blades with a fine tooth pitch (14–18 TPI) are used for cutting steel, blades with a coarser pitch (6–10 TPI) for aluminium and non-ferrous metals, while carbide blades with a medium pitch are sufficient for PVC. Before first use, read the instruction manual for guidance on blade fitting and tensioning.
