How to check compatibility

Differences between cutters for different materials
PVC cutters have a different blade geometry from tools for metal or multilayer pipes. Using a PVC cutter on pipes made of other materials can damage the blade or result in a poor cut. Metal pipes are cut with roller cutters, while multilayer pipes require tools with a cutting blade set at a different angle.
