Impact screwdriver bit with a Pozidriv PZ2 tip and an extended 150 mm length, made from S2 spring steel. Designed for use with impact drivers in applications that call for greater resistance to dynamic loads.
S2 steel offers greater resistance to impact loads than standard chrome vanadium steel. Its higher silicon content delivers improved elasticity, which reduces the risk of cracking when working with impact drivers.
The Pozidriv system differs from Phillips in having additional grooves between the main arms, which increases the contact area with the screw. The PZ2 designation indicates a medium size – suitable for screws with a shank diameter of 3.5-5 mm.
Three times longer than standard 50 mm bits. It allows work in deep fixing recesses, on screws seated in counterbores and in places where access is obstructed by structural elements.
A magnet in the working tip holds the screw on the bit during positioning, which removes the need to hold the screw with your other hand. Particularly useful for overhead assembly or in areas with restricted access.

Pozidriv screws have additional, smaller grooves set at 45° between the main arms of the cross. Phillips screws have only the four main grooves forming the cross. Using the wrong bit causes faster wear to both the tool and the screw head, and also increases the risk of slipping.
Before starting work, check that the bit size matches the screw size – a bit that is too small or too large can damage the screw head. With impact drivers, it is advisable to set an appropriate impact force, particularly when working with delicate materials.
The bit should be inserted into the holder along the full length of the shank to ensure stability during use. The magnetic tip needs periodic cleaning to remove metal swarf, which can weaken the pull of the magnet.
After use, the bit should be cleaned of dust and swarf. Storing it in a dry place prevents corrosion. Regularly checking the condition of the working tip allows wear to be detected before precision is lost – rounded groove edges indicate that replacement is due.
