A Kraft&Dele bar clamp designed for clamping and joining wooden components during gluing, assembly and general woodworking. The tool is fitted with a quick-release jaw system and protective pads that prevent damage to the workpiece surface. With the jaws reversed, it can also be used as a spreader.
The sliding jaw moves along the bar without the need to turn the clamping screw — one hand is enough to set the initial opening. This shortens the time needed to set the tool up for work, particularly during repetitive gluing operations.
Soft pads fitted to both jaws protect the surface of the clamped material against marks and dents. This is important when working with finished, lacquered or veneered timber, where tool marks would require additional reworking.
With the jaws reversed, the tool switches from clamping to spreading mode. This makes it possible to force components apart, for example when assembling frames, drawers or boxes, without the need for a separate tool.
A maximum clamping force of 230 kg holds glued joints securely even with thicker sections of timber. The steel construction of the bar and screw ensures stability during prolonged clamping.

A throat depth of 100 mm means the jaws can reach a maximum of 100 mm in from the edge of the material. When gluing wide boards or worktops, several clamps may be needed, spaced 20–30 cm apart along the glue line, to ensure even clamping pressure along the full length of the joint.
