A specialist elongated brush designed for painting hard-to-reach areas such as the space behind radiators, pipework and narrow gaps. The 50 mm width provides efficient surface coverage while still allowing you to work in confined spaces.
The elongated, slim-profile design allows access to areas with limited clearance — behind radiators, between pipes and in gaps. This removes the need to dismantle parts of the installation when painting.
The filaments are highly resistant to bending and kinking, which matters when working in awkward spaces. They retain their springiness even when pressed repeatedly against the surface.
The filament material resists organic solvents, so the brush can be used with oil-based, alkyd, chlorinated rubber and other solvent-based products.
The filaments are set into the metal ferrule by permanent wedging, which stops them working loose during use. The ferrule is joined to a metal handle to form a rigid construction.

A radiator brush has an elongated, slim design — the handle is typically 25–40 cm long, compared with 15–20 cm for a standard brush. This allows you to work deep inside spaces only a few centimetres wide. The filaments are shorter and stiffer than those of flat brushes, which gives better control when painting at an angle.
Before first use, remove any loose filaments by brushing the brush vigorously. After working with solvent-based paints, clean the brush with a suitable thinner — white spirit, turpentine or a product made for the particular paint type.
Once the paint has been cleaned off, rinse the brush in warm water with detergent, then dry it lying flat or hang it bristles down. Storing the brush upright with the bristles pointing up can permanently distort the filaments.
Do not leave the brush soaking in solvent for longer than necessary — prolonged contact can weaken the bond between the filaments and the ferrule. After a long period of disuse, check the condition of the filaments and, if needed, remove dried paint residues mechanically or chemically.
