Professional 2-inch flat paint brush with a 50/50 blend of natural and synthetic bristle. The lacquered beech handle and galvanised ferrule provide durability when painting with oil-based, emulsion and latex paints and varnishes.
Combining natural bristle with synthetic filament brings together the strengths of both materials. Natural bristle spreads paint evenly and holds brush marks, while synthetic filament increases durability and makes cleaning easier. This composition performs particularly well with acrylic and emulsion paints.
The lacquered beech handle has an ergonomic shape and is resistant to moisture. Beech does not distort when it comes into contact with solvents and water, which ensures a stable grip during long painting jobs.
The galvanised steel ferrule prevents the bristles from shedding and protects against corrosion when working with water-based paints. Galvanising ensures durability even when the brush is cleaned frequently in thinners.
A working width of approximately 50 mm allows medium-sized surfaces to be covered with precision. This size is ideal for painting doors, windows, furniture and finishing elements that require accurate application.

Before using the brush for the first time, rinse the bristles in water (for water-based paints) or thinners (for oil-based paints) to remove loose filaments. A new brush may shed the occasional bristle during its first few uses.
After finishing work, rinse the brush thoroughly in a suitable solvent or in water, depending on the type of paint. Acrylic and emulsion paints should be washed off with soapy water before they dry. After cleaning, dry the brush suspended with the bristles pointing down.
Store a clean brush in a dry place, lying flat or suspended with the bristles pointing down. Do not leave the brush immersed in water or solvent for long periods, as this can distort the bristles and damage the wooden handle.
