A tool designed for cutting and bending steel wire and reinforcing bars. The chrome vanadium steel construction resists wear when working with hard materials.
Technical characteristics
CRV chrome vanadium steel
An alloy with elevated hardness and abrasion resistance. The vanadium content increases mechanical strength, allowing steel wire to be cut repeatedly without damaging the blades. Chrome plating provides protection against corrosion.
180 mm working length
A universal size that balances leverage and manoeuvrability. Sufficient for cutting wire up to 3-4 mm in diameter. The 7-inch size matches the hand tool standards used in construction.
Insulated handles
The plastic coating reduces slipping and increases comfort during prolonged use. The insulation provides additional protection on accidental contact with live conductors up to 1000 V, although the tool is not certified as electrically insulating.
End cutting jaws
The flat gripping surfaces allow precise clamping and bending of material. The cutting edges located at the front of the jaws allow wire to be cut in hard-to-reach places.

Use and maintenance
