A reciprocating saw blade designed for cutting porous materials — aerated concrete and honeycomb bricks. Fitted with tungsten carbide teeth for lasting performance when working with abrasive materials.
Tungsten carbide is considerably harder than steel, which allows abrasive materials to be cut repeatedly without rapid blunting of the edge. With aerated concrete and porous bricks, this gives the blade a service life many times longer than that of standard steel teeth.
TPI (teeth per inch) indicates the number of teeth per inch. A value of 2 TPI means wide spacing between the teeth, which helps clear swarf and dust when cutting porous materials. This design prevents the blade from clogging and overheating.
The section of the blade that actively takes part in the cut. A length of 260 mm allows standard aerated concrete blocks (up to 24 cm wide) to be cut in a single pass, without the need to cut from both sides.
The blade fits standard reciprocating saws with a universal holder. Before purchase, check the type of fitting on your saw — the most common is a tool-free quick-change system.

Before purchase, make sure your reciprocating saw takes 305 mm blades. Most professional and semi-professional saws accept blades of up to 300-350 mm. Also check the type of fitting — universal quick-release holders are compatible with most blades on the market.
When cutting porous materials, the blade generates a considerable amount of dust. Dust extraction is recommended, or work in a well-ventilated area. Aerated concrete contains fine silica particles that can be harmful to the respiratory system.
After use, clean accumulated dust from the blade with compressed air or a brush. Moisture combined with aerated concrete dust can accelerate corrosion of the steel blade body.
Tungsten carbide teeth are resistant to abrasion but sensitive to impact and cracking. Avoid contact with hard metal items (such as rebar) and do not force the blade against the material. A steady, moderate working pace extends the life of the tool.
