A masking tape designed to protect surfaces during rendering and painting work on façades and inside buildings. Made from coated polyethylene with a hot-melt adhesive, it adheres to both rough and smooth substrates.
The PE structure provides flexibility and mechanical resistance. The coating prevents water and paint from soaking through, which allows the tape to be used in high-humidity conditions during façade rendering.
The heat-activated adhesive bonds instantly to the substrate without the need for pressure. It remains flexible across a wide temperature range, which makes the tape easier to remove without leaving adhesive residue on the surface.
This parameter defines the force required to tear a 25 mm-wide strip of tape. A value of 105 N indicates resistance to mechanical stress during application and removal, particularly on uneven façade surfaces.
UV stabilisers in the material structure prevent the adhesive from degrading in sunlight. The tape can remain on the façade for several days without losing adhesion or becoming difficult to remove, which is important for multi-stage work.

The surface should be cleaned of dust and contaminant. The tape is applied with even pressure from one end, avoiding creases. The optimum application temperature is 10-30°C. On rough renders, extra pressure should be applied along the tape edges.
Remove the tape at a 45° angle immediately after finishing work, or within 3-5 days of application at the latest. Leaving the tape on the façade for too long may make it harder to remove, particularly in strong sunlight.
Store the product at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Rolls should be protected from dust and moisture. Correct storage preserves the adhesive properties throughout the shelf life.
