A round grinding head with a diameter of 225 mm, designed for mounting on angle grinders. The tool is used for working metal, wood and plastic surfaces, enabling coating removal, smoothing and preparatory grinding.
The large working surface speeds up work on large areas. Heads of this diameter require angle grinders fitted with a disc mounting of the correct bore and sufficient motor power (usually a minimum of 2000-2400W).
The head works with angle grinders fitted with a standard M14 mounting thread. Before buying, check the maximum disc diameter permitted by the grinder manufacturer and the power rating of the tool.
The design of the head allows different materials to be ground once the appropriate abrasive paper is fitted. The ability to change the abrasive discs allows the grit to be matched to each stage of the job.
The round shape ensures even pressure distribution across the whole working surface and stable operation at high speeds. This reduces the risk of unevenness appearing on the surface being ground.

Before buying, verify the maximum disc diameter stated in the angle grinder's manual. Grinders designed for 230 mm discs will be compatible with a 225 mm head. Also check the type of mounting thread (M14 as standard) and whether the grinder's motor power is sufficient for working with accessories of this diameter.
When fitting the head, make sure it is tightened correctly and seated securely on the grinder spindle. Working with a grinding head requires personal protective equipment: safety goggles, work gloves and a dust mask.
The head should be checked regularly for mechanical damage, cracks or deformation. After finishing work, it is worth cleaning dust and dirt from the head. Storing it in a dry place prevents corrosion of the metal components.
Abrasive discs should be replaced in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Worn abrasive paper loses its effectiveness and can cause the head and the grinder to overheat.
