A universal P180 grit abrasive sheet designed for hand and machine sanding of wooden, metal and painted surfaces.
A P180 grit (82 µm) corresponds to medium finishing sanding. It removes minor imperfections, prepares the surface for varnishing or painting, and smooths wood between successive coats.
The 230×280 mm size is a popular format compatible with most orbital sanders. The sheet can also be cut into smaller pieces or used by hand with a sanding block.
The pack contains 10 sheets, providing an ample supply of material for larger finishing or renovation jobs without the need for frequent replenishment.
P180 sandpaper is suitable for working with a range of materials – from natural wood, MDF and chipboard to non-ferrous metals and paint coatings that require sanding between coats.

The higher the number after the letter P, the finer the grit. P180 is a universal grade for finishing work – coarser than P240-P320 (finishing grades) and finer than P80-P120 (coarse grades). Use P60-P80 for removing old paint and P240-P400 for a final smooth finish.
Sanding sheets should be stored in a dry place protected from moisture, which can weaken the paper backing. The grit wears gradually during use – the sheet needs replacing once it loses its cutting ability (the surface becomes smooth and the work requires excessive pressure).
When wet sanding (if the substrate allows), it is worth periodically cleaning dust from the surface of the sheet – this extends its service life. For dry sanding, dust extraction is recommended, or working in a well-ventilated room while wearing a dust mask.
The sheets can be cut with scissors or a knife to sizes suitable for orbital sanders or hand blocks. When fitting to a sander, make sure the abrasive surface is evenly tensioned and free from creases, which could cause uneven sanding.
