YATO YT-7811 1/4" x 25 mm PZ2 Screwdriver Bits – Pack of 50
Professional screwdriver bits with a 1/4" shank in the Pozidriv PZ2 standard, made from S2 steel. The pack contains 50 identical 25 mm bits, designed for intensive use with cordless and pneumatic screwdrivers.
Technical Characteristics of PZ2 Bits
S2 Tool Steel
S2 material is characterised by a silicon (Si) content of around 0.5%, which increases elasticity and impact resistance. Bits made from this steel withstand higher torsional loads than standard CrV steel bits, which translates into a longer service life when working with hard materials.
Pozidriv PZ2 Profile
The Pozidriv system is a development of the Phillips standard with additional ribs between the arms of the cross. The PZ2 profile suits medium screws with a diameter of 3.5-5 mm. The larger contact area reduces the risk of slipping and damaging the screw recess when tightening with high torque.
1/4" Hex Shank
The standard 1/4" (6.35 mm) shank fits all common quick-release bit holders, cordless screwdrivers and magnetic bit holders. The hexagonal shape prevents the bit from rotating in the holder during use.
25 mm Working Length
A length of 25 mm is the standard for general-purpose bits. It provides sufficient reach while maintaining rigidity and precision of torque transmission. Shorter bits minimise flexing during tightening, which gives greater control over the process.

Difference between Phillips (PH) and Pozidriv (PZ)
Pozidriv has additional ribs between the arms of the cross, which increases the contact area. PZ screws require PZ bits – using a Phillips bit will cause faster wear and a risk of slipping. Check the marking on the screw head before starting work.
Using and Maintaining Screwdriver Bits
Selecting the Torque
S2 steel bits withstand torque of up to approximately 15-20 Nm, depending on the quality of the screw recess. When working with a torque-controlled screwdriver, set the value to suit the material – 4-6 Nm for chipboard, 8-12 Nm for metal. Exceeding the permitted torque shortens the service life of the bit.
Checking for Wear
Check the condition of the bit tips regularly. Rounded edges on the arms of the cross indicate wear and increase the risk of slipping. Replace the bit when you notice difficulty keeping it in the screw recess or when signs of slipping appear on the working surface.
Storage
Screwdriver bits should be stored in a dry place, protected from moisture. S2 steel is resistant to corrosion, but prolonged contact with water can lead to rust. Compartment organisers make it easier to sort bits and reach them quickly during work.
