A set of three adaptors that allow impact sockets to be used with drills and rotary hammers fitted with an SDS-Plus chuck. This solution lets you tighten bolts and nuts without having to change tools.
The adaptors fit drills and rotary hammers equipped with an SDS-Plus chuck – one of the most common fitting standards on power tools from Bosch, Makita, DeWalt and other manufacturers. The SDS-Plus system allows quick changes without the need for a key.
The set includes adaptors for 1/2" (12.7 mm), 3/8" (9.5 mm) and 1/4" (6.35 mm) sockets. This allows work with a range of socket sizes – from small M6 bolts to larger M20 and above fixings, depending on the socket set you have.
Made from chrome vanadium tool steel, which offers increased resistance to wear and deformation. The vanadium content improves hardness, while the chrome increases corrosion resistance, resulting in longer adaptor life under intensive use.
The adaptors allow fasteners to be tightened with a hammer drill without having to switch to drilling mode or change to a screwdriver. This makes on-site work easier, where one tool can perform several functions.

Before purchasing, make sure your drill or rotary hammer has an SDS-Plus chuck. This can be checked in the instruction manual or visually – an SDS-Plus chuck has characteristic longitudinal grooves and a diameter of around 10 mm. It should not be confused with the SDS-Max system (used on heavier demolition hammers) or with a standard keyless chuck.
Before fitting the adaptor, make sure the tool's chuck is clean and free from concrete dust. The adaptor is inserted into the SDS-Plus chuck by pushing it in with a slight twist until it locks. The socket is fitted onto the adaptor's square drive, choosing the appropriate size for the task.
During use, avoid excessive side loading, which can damage the chuck mechanism. After finishing work, clean the adaptor of dirt and protect it against corrosion, particularly when working in damp conditions or with materials that scratch the surface.
