A hook-and-loop polishing sponge designed for use with rotary and dual-action polishers. The soft foam ensures safe finishing of paintwork, furniture and other surfaces that require gentle polishing without the risk of dulling.
Its low-density structure minimises pressure on the surface, which reduces the risk of holograms and dulling of the paintwork. It is used in the final stages of polishing and when applying waxes and finishing compounds.
The hook-and-loop system allows the sponge to be changed quickly and without tools. The backing provides a stable connection with the polisher's backing pad during use, while also making the sponge easy to clean and store.
The 130x150 mm working surface is compatible with standard 125-150 mm backing pads. The 25 mm thickness provides appropriate flexibility and cushioning when polishing curved surfaces.
The maximum rotational speed defines the sponge's safe operating range. Exceeding this value may cause the foam to overheat and become damaged. For finishing work, a speed of 1000-2000 rpm is recommended.

Before purchasing, check the diameter of your polisher's backing pad. The 130x150 mm sponge is compatible with 125-150 mm pads fitted with a hook-and-loop face. With polishers that have smaller pads (100-115 mm), the sponge will overhang the edge, making work in hard-to-reach areas more difficult.
Before first use, dampen the sponge with water and spin off the excess, which increases its flexibility. During use, clean the sponge regularly to remove residue from polishing compounds using a brush or compressed air. When you have finished, wash the sponge in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, rinse it and leave it to dry upright.
Storing the sponge in a dry, shaded place extends its service life. Exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures causes the foam to harden and lose its polishing properties. Do not store the sponge attached to the polisher's backing pad, as this can lead to permanent deformation.
Wear safety goggles and a dust mask when polishing. Working with a polisher requires a firm grip and a gradual increase in speed. Do not apply excessive pressure to the surface being polished – the weight of the machine itself is usually sufficient. If the sponge or the working surface overheats, stop work and wait for it to cool down.
