A spiral mixing paddle for power drills, designed for the professional mixing of paints, varnishes, mortars and construction adhesives. The galvanised steel construction provides corrosion resistance when working with water-based materials.
The spiral shape moves the material from the bottom upwards, eliminating sediment at the base of the container. The design prevents lumps and air bubbles from forming in the mix, which results in a consistent material texture.
Electrogalvanised coating protects the paddle surface against rust when working with water-based materials. The zinc layer extends the service life of the tool even under intensive use on site.
The hexagonal hex shank ensures a secure fit in the drill chuck with no slipping when mixing thick materials. The 1/4" format fits standard keyless and keyed chucks on drills and drill drivers.
The 80 mm size strikes a balance between mixing efficiency and the ability to work in standard 10-20 litre buckets. The 400 mm length allows material to be mixed in deeper containers without the risk of submerging the drill.

For low-viscosity materials (paints, varnishes), a speed of 400-600 rpm is recommended. Thicker materials (mortars, adhesives) require a lower speed of 300-400 rpm to avoid splashing. Start mixing at low speed and gradually increase it once the paddle is submerged.
Clean the paddle immediately after finishing work, before the material sets. Wash water-based paints off with water and solvent-based materials with a suitable thinner. Once dry, any remaining material can be removed mechanically with a wire brush or scraper.
The 6.35 mm hex shank fits drills and drill drivers with a keyless or keyed chuck. A drill output of at least 500 W is recommended for medium-density materials. When mixing thick mortars, it is worth using drills with a torque control function.
