Adjustable working jaw

Use and maintenance
How to use
The Stillson wrench works on a self-tightening principle – the greater the force applied to the handle, the firmer the grip of the jaws. Set the movable jaw at the appropriate distance from the fixed one, place it on the component and move it in the direction of the teeth angle on the movable jaw. The direction of movement determines how effectively the wrench self-tightens.
Tool maintenance
After use, clean the jaws of dirt and deposits. Lubricate the adjustment mechanism periodically with maintenance grease. Store in a dry place to prevent corrosion of the steel parts. Check the condition of the jaw teeth – worn teeth reduce grip effectiveness.
