A striking screwdriver designed for work requiring increased tightening force and the ability to be struck with a hammer. The tool combines the functions of a traditional flat screwdriver with a reinforced construction designed for mechanical impact.
The chrome vanadium alloy delivers increased hardness while retaining flexibility. The material resists the deformation caused by hammer strikes and by intensive use in workshop conditions. Surface hardening protects the working tip from premature wear.
The reinforced shank transfers the force of the blow without any risk of cracking or deformation. The rear of the handle is made from a material resistant to mechanical impact, allowing safe striking with a hammer. A solution that proves useful on seized screw joints.
The 6 mm width matches the standard screws used in electrical installations, precision engineering and the fitting of building hardware. The precision-ground tip seats securely in the screw slot, minimising the risk of slipping while tightening.
The length provides access to fasteners in recessed mounting sockets, distribution boxes and the interiors of equipment. The shank length allows work in locations where standard short screwdrivers cannot reach the joint.

Before starting work, make sure that the blade width (6 mm) matches the dimensions of the slot in the screw head. A blade that is too narrow damages the slot, while one that is too wide prevents full engagement. The blade should fill the slot across its full width with minimal side play.
Before using the striking technique, check that the screw is not made from a brittle material that may crack under impact. Hammer blows should be controlled and of moderate force so as not to damage the thread or the base material.
After finishing work, clean the screwdriver of contamination and protect it from moisture. Regular checks on the condition of the blade allow early detection of wear to the working edges. A damaged or rounded blade means the tool must be replaced or professionally reconditioned.
Storing the tool in a dry place, away from sources of moisture, extends its service life. Striking screwdrivers should not be used as chisels or cold chisels, as this leads to permanent damage to the blade geometry.
