A transport castor with a swivel bracket and mounting plate, designed for trolleys, shelving and industrial furniture. The steel construction with a rubber tyre provides stability and protects floor surfaces.

Steel construction

Selecting the right load
When calculating the load capacity of a structure, add up the maximum loads of all castors. For a set of 4 castors rated at 100 kg each, the total load capacity is 400 kg. It is advisable to leave a safety margin of 20-30% below the maximum value, particularly for dynamic transport.
Fitting and use
The castor is fitted by placing the mounting plate against the base of the structure and securing it with four bolts through the 9 mm diameter holes. The mounting hole centres are 75 × 83 mm (b1 × b2) and 62 × 59 mm (l1 × l2) – check compatibility with the existing holes in the structure before fitting.
The swivel mechanism requires periodic lubrication of the bearings, particularly in dusty environments. The rubber tyre should be checked for wear and mechanical damage. When transporting materials with sharp edges, it is advisable to protect the wheel surface against cuts.
Checking dimensional compatibility
Before purchase, measure the available mounting space. The overall height of the castor is 147 mm – make sure that after fitting the structure will have adequate ground clearance. The mounting plate dimensions (104 × 80 mm) must match the available mounting surface on the target structure.
