Swivel Castor with Brake 100mm GEKO G71518
A 100 mm castor with a dual locking system, designed for fitting to trolleys, shelving and industrial furniture. The steel construction with a rubber tyre provides stability and protects the floor surface.
Technical features
2-in-1 dual brake
The brake system locks both the rotation of the wheel on its axle and the swivel of the fork at the same time. It prevents equipment from moving unintentionally during loading, unloading or stationary work.
Swivel bracket with mounting plate
The steel fork construction with a mounting plate allows quick fitting with bolts. A 360° swivel makes it easy to manoeuvre in confined spaces. Plate dimensions: 104×75 mm, bolt hole spacing: 83×62 mm.
Steel wheel centre with rubber tyre
The steel wheel centre provides strength under loads of up to 70 kg. The rubber tyre absorbs vibration, reduces noise when moving and protects floors from scratches – important in rooms with carpet or laminate flooring.
Compact dimensions
An overall height of 126 mm allows fitting to structures with low clearance. A wheel width of 35 mm provides stability without excessively increasing the width of the whole assembly.

Fitting and use
Fitting
Before fitting, check that the mounting plate fits the available space on the structure (104×75 mm) and that the bolt hole spacing (83×62 mm) matches the holes in the base. Use M8 or M10 bolts depending on the load. Tighten all four bolts evenly so that stress is distributed evenly.
Applying the brake
The 2-in-1 brake is applied with a single movement of the lever. In the locked position the wheel does not rotate on its axle and the fork does not swivel. For safe operation, at least two castors on opposite corners of the structure should be locked.
Maintenance
Regularly check the condition of the tyre for wear and damage. Clean dirt from the swivel and locking mechanism. If necessary, lubricate the fork bearing with grease. Check that the mounting bolts are tight every 3–6 months under intensive use.
