Professional impact bit with a Torx T30 tip, made from S2 spring steel. Designed for use with impact drivers in applications requiring increased resistance to dynamic loads.
A material combining a hardness of 58-60 HRC with flexibility. It resists cracking during impact driving, which extends the service life of the bit compared with standard tool steels.
The six-point star profile provides a larger contact area with the screw than standard cross-head tips. It reduces torsional stress and minimises the risk of damaging the screw recess.
The extended reach allows fixing in deeper holes and in areas with limited access. A standard length for installation work in construction and furniture assembly.
A built-in magnet holds the screw on the tip during positioning, which speeds up the work and reduces the risk of dropping fasteners in hard-to-reach places.

S2 (spring) steel differs from the popular CRV (chrome vanadium) steel mainly in its flexibility while maintaining high hardness. During impact driving, an S2 steel bit absorbs the impact energy through minimal elastic deformation, which prevents the tip from cracking. Standard steels, although harder, are more brittle and prone to chipping under dynamic loads.
The difference is particularly noticeable during intensive use with high-torque impact drivers. S2 steel bits retain a sharp edge and a precise fit in the recess even after several hundred working cycles, whereas standard bits need replacing earlier.
The bit fits all drill drivers and impact drivers with a 1/4" hex shank (6.35 mm). Before use, check that the tool supports impact mode — standard cordless drill drivers may not make full use of the bit's impact properties.
Before starting work, check the condition of the bit tip — damaged or worn edges can damage the screw recess. An appropriate torque matched to the material and screw diameter is recommended.
After finishing work, clean the bit of dust and metal swarf. If working in damp conditions, wipe the tip with a dry cloth and store it in a dry place. No additional lubrication is required — the magnetic tip may lose its properties on contact with oils containing solvents.
The bit must be replaced when chipping of the edges or rounding of the Torx profile is visible, or when the bit starts to slip in the screw recess under normal pressure.
